Opening
an Account
The main focus of this
website is investment products; as such, brokerage firms will be emphasized in

Before opening an
account or sending in money you need to do a reference check. NASD
has a service that can check the reputation of a broker (account
representative) and his firm; their telephone number is (800) 289-9999. This
is a “must do,” even if you’re dealing with representatives who are family
