J.R.R. Tolkien (1954 – 1955) - "The world has changed,
much that once was, is lost. For none now live who remember it. History
became legend, legend became myth, and some things that should not have been
forgotten were lost. Until, when chance came, it ensnared a new bearer." As
in Lord of the Rings, vital information was lost through the ages.
